PAY IT FORWARD

I read about the "Pay it Forward" game on Tracy Helgeson's blog. Unfortunately, I was too late to be a recipient of one of her paintings. (I am a fan of her work) However, I followed the thread and found Mary Ann--who is one of the lucky ones to get a creation of Tracy's----and, lo & behold---I was in time to sign up on Mary Ann's blog. (As of the time of this posting, Mary Ann is still looking for her third person, so check it out!)
Here's the deal for "Pay it Forward"---
"I will send a handmade gift (it will probably be a small painting)to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don’t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise!(You will most likely get it in the beginning of 2008, considering my current schedule/state of overwhelm) The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog."
How fun! I think it will be a great way to bring in the new year & get me started on a whole new group of paintings!

I always feel like I have entered an enchanted land when I browse through your blog. Your paintings are amazing!

I like the pay it forward game - alas I am afraid to take anything else on right now. Am trying to clear the plate, not add. Another time tho - what a great idea! (esp for one of your pieces). =]

Christine,
having just returned to the land of the living and feeling slightly adrift, i was dipping in and out of the blogs that I like to visit and looking for that 'click' factor that energises and makes you feel inspired and was just beginning to feel despondent when lo and behold there you are with your delightfully infectious energy, soulful images and enthusiasm. Thank you.
Off, with renewed vigour to go and tidy the studio and hopefully one day soon sign up to this wonderful idea.

Tammy,
Thanks for your kind words....if you want to play PIF, you do have 365 days to comply with sending off your pieces. So think about it!

Zooms,
I am so glad that my work can be an inspiration! It's everything that I would want from doing it! Sounds like you must have gotten the lovely flu that's been going around. Glad you're back.

Cathy--I am delighted that you want to play. But you will get something from me & then you are supposed to offer the same on your blog for someone else. This is a excellent reason to start a blog (FREE WEBSITE!!!!) for your wonderful new store-LAGNIAPPE RASA!!! Go to blogger.com & sign up!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Christine
