I wish I had a green thumb. Everything I plant, dies. I planted - with much excitement and hope - blackberry and raspberry bushes two summers ago. Dead. Also, some great roses that were supposed to be easy to maintain. Dead. Sigh.
I love these flowers - so SPRING! WOO HOO - warmer weather and longer days!
I also wanted to tell you that I am looking for artists who would post about the inspiring things around their studios. Please see my entry here: http://www.heatherbartlettart.com/2009/03/studio-inspiration/
I would love it if you would do a post about stuff that inspires you and post some studio photos to share and then link from the comment section of my website so I can then come back here and see your post about your studio. I love to learn about the things that inspire other artists that they keep around them every day.
Go HERE to view what's new and available--these are small acrylic on canvas paintings priced at under $400. If you see something you like, email me and let me know. I am happy to do something similar to an image that has already been sold.
